M.I.A

A recent episode made me feel worn out and i felt like isolating myself from the rest of the world. Perhaps a little time by myself would prevent the "time bomb" in me from blowing up, a far cry from the usually suppressed and peace-loving me.

Escapism - i tot, perhaps i needed a mental diversion. Tired. Trying- we all push ourselves to please one another but sometimes it ain't just enough..

Luckily, my knight in shining armour came riding by. Made me see the rainbow after the dark clouds that hover above.

I feel blessed.

National Day (1st Rehearsal)

Am at the Floating Platform to watch the 1st Rehearsal of NDP. I Love National Day Parades! Spied my eyes on that LIME green NDP bag but the guy refused to let us choose colours =(

So was given the Yellow & Blue (luckily Yellow is ur fav color!)

I even have a red cap, don't *pray pray* And yes, a bit hungry le..keke We thought they gave out free umbrellas so we checked our goodie bag, but there was NONE!

Even had time to meet some old friends who brought us to their highly-recommended pub. Can't remember the pub name/location hee, maybe cos nothing worth remembering hee. Well, the Fillippino's singing is horrible! Just imagine a guy mimicking Minnie Rippleton's Loving you *pengs*

Lonely Heart

I used to lament about loneliness (singlehood) but i guess there's someone out there who is prolly more lonely than I am..

My parents r in China for a couple of days. Each time i come home, Smoky gave me a look of "Nobody loves me". And she looked particularly depressed last night so i took her for a walk..

We were at the neighbourhood when Smoky wanted to go another direction-towards the shops. I tug her in the right direction when i heard someone saying..

"She's quite stubborn eh?"

i looked up and saw this bespectacled gentleman smiling and looking at us while walking past. I said nothing (was caught by surprise)

Then he walked off, only to stop a few metres in front. Smoky & i walked along and he added:

" Do u usually walk ur dog at this time?" I was thinking.. (Valerie is not a late night owl who deprives her dog of her sleep just because she (Valerie) can't Zz)

"No..but she looked rather lonely tonight" And then we went off, hand in paw..It turned out that he was staying in the same blk as I am..
