Once, an image consultant came to our school to talk to us on personal grooming and gave advice on recommended hairstyles from idenfying our face shapes. I remember her telling me that I have a heart-shaped face, much to the envy of my schoolmates. They thought having a heart shaped face was special as it sounded better than to have a square/round face. Innocent little girls we were, back in college.

People with heart shaped faces generally look good in chin or longer hairstyles. Also, side-parted hair styles or swept-forward layers around the upper face, with gently wispy bangs.
After donkey years, I have finally decided to have bangs for a whiff of fresh air.
